8-Core Mac Pros coming tomorrow?

Apple could release Clovertown-based 8-Core Mac Pros as soon as tomorrow recent reports on the Internet claim.

The Mac-maker hasn't updated its Pro line-up for several months while we have been repeatedly receiving reports from sources saying their release was imminent since late last year.

Apple is holding a special event on April 15 at NAB where the company is also expected to make some product announcements. Until now, most believed the Mac Pro line-up would eventually be updated during NAB but it could happen a bit earlier than expected.

With no track-record on the sources of these reports we would rather take this as speculation but another unconfirmed report MacScoop received last week regarding the Mac Pro line-up contains very similar claims and so we thought it was worth mentioning this here.

Moreover, in an exclusive report recently published on MacScoop, we were expecting Apple to make several hardware announcements during the second Calendar quarter of the year, with the Pro line-up next to the list.

The article is dates April 2 and TheInquirer's article on which MacScoop based its report specifically cites "Tuesday".

In a shock to no one, the 2S four-core machines will be touted as the next great thing, during Tuesday's dog and pony show.
